Is there a way to control a yes/no parameter with a Type Catalog? What syntax would I use to control it?
I've been trying the following options:
,Show 1 Fan##other##

,Show 1 Fan##other##

,Show 1 Fan##other##

just to try and get a handle on it but it's not working. :banghead:

Help please?

Doh! Got it. It's a tick and maths talk for yes or no is 1 or 0.
It goes like this:
,Show 1 Fan##other##
VAC1121-400,1 (for show it) or VAC1211-400,0 (for don't show it)

Ciao for now.

I find that using 1 and 0 working for this to be odd. I was trying to put a toggle in a family that is forced on and does not have the ability to uncheck and when I put 0 or 1 in the formula column it did not like it.

I ended up using text and forcing the text to a particular thing, but I really would have thought I could do that with the Yes/no as well. Any ideas?

If you want to set the value of a Yes/No parameter in a family with a formula, you need to type something that evaluates to True or False. Just a 1 or a 0 does not evaluate as true or false. Type something such as 1 > 0, or 0 < 1, or the name of another Yes/No parameter.
