No, I have forgotten about this - I must have another look :)
In the various lockdowns I'd found the noise-cancelling tech in Airpod Pros - the in-ear cordless airpods - to be a wonderful way of escaping from the family for a while but staying in the same room....
I've always fancied one of these clocks after seeing one in an interior designer's studio years ago, but they are very expensive:

Many thanks scourdx - very interesting
FWIW the actual clock modelled in the OP arrived from Vitra in Switzerland in time for Christmas - a new office clock for 2021 (designed in 1949 ?)

This is very interesting, thanks. I spend a lot of time designing custom stairs in Revit (in the UK) - mostly squeezing in stairs with 'winders' or tapered steps, mixed with straight steps, into...
Very true :thumbsup::)
Thanks Ben,
I've saved the code and will use it as soon as I find a suitable opportunity.
cheers,
Hi Alex,
Yes, the kitchen man said to me not to worry as they site measure everything before final sign off and you could argue it is near enough for services to be placed.
We always have the...
Welcome to the forum HoughtonTech :)
This seems consistent with my experience. Only this week I spent hours trying to turn a .drw file given me, more in hope than expectation, by a kitchen...
I saw this Nord keyboards promotional video at the beginning of the year - by accident, as I'd bought a Nord Drum unit (I've played drums for nearly 50 years - 20 using electronic drums) - and was...
Is it just a UK thing that kitchen designers use cad software that is incapable of exporting to any sort of cad format?
I've just had this again today on a new house under construction. It can be...
That's a shame Elton - messy desks tell you so much about their owners :)
The Canvas App iPhone 12 Pro LIDAR scan of my office (I posted it recently in Out There) is good for this - it picks up...
Thanks Ben, I've emailed you about your very kind offer.
I find that I use the App all the time on my small sites - the uploaded scans being viewable to anyone sent the link is a great feature.
Thanks Aaron - very impressive
(and I thought hunting around for rafters in a single house model was tedious... :) )
What are Search Sets Aaron? (Pardon my ignorance :))
I've found that setting a keyboard shortcut for 'Load Selection' and assigning it to a key on my X-keys device is probably the fastest and most useful way of accessing the features dialog.
While I knew you could Save and Load Selections in recent versions of Revit I had not noticed that you can Edit these Selections.
What a wonderful feature!
You need to click Edit in the top...
I never used to like more than a single monitor for Revit but now with Enscape and Lumion a 2nd monitor became inevitable (31" for Revit and 27" for the others). Site survey photos and other...

I've had a couple of crashes of Lumion Pro 11.0 when working with Revit 2021 so updated my 3D Connexions driver (updated today), Graphics drivers and also am downloading Lumion Pro again as I see it...
On looking through all the files and products I see that much of it is office furniture, but still useful.
I could not resist the Eames elephant - originally in plywood Vitra now sell a plastic...
For Christmas :) I just treated myself to a George Nelson ball clock for the office (the version with the multi-coloured balls, if you know what I am talking about).
I noticed that Vitra who...
Over the years I have moaned a bit (just a bit :) ) about the masks Lumion can create when rendering - sky, materials etc. When used in Photoshop they appeared fuzzy at the edges.
Something may...
I don't know if it is of any help but I've been playing with Lumion 11 Pro's new OpenStreetMap linking and you seem to be able to define how large an area is included. I live among mountains (small...
