I know several here use the workflow, but this is why I don't like rotating scope boxes. Annotations just get icky when you need to uncrop or rotate further (for whatever reason).

This is what I do for parking too, use a custom parameter to report the levels. Especially handy for multi level basement parking with hundreds of spaces and lots of ramps. Yeah it's manual input but...

Sounds to me like you doubled clicked into group edit mode. Arrays are groups.

AWS are ok families but they aren't perfect.

In Architecture we typically want them to build to our spec, not the other way around :)

You've hit the the "import cad" button instead of the "link cad" button, and now your project is bigger and heavier than it needs to be.
Best option is to delete them all then "link cad".

There are plenty of workflows available with varying degrees of support and reliability but my suggestion is BIM360. All can work on the same file simultaneously, or each office can link each others...
