Curtain wall or Window?
To be honest I would go with what you can get right now from the GTX series. Later you can upgrade to something a bit beefier is needed and if stuff is more available. For just Revit a 1650 is OK,...
OH man, I have seen this as well, asked why and there was not a real answer on that.
I try to stay away from WorkSets all together as I really don't see any benefit in them for the project size I...
To me you should not limit the file size but how detailed your file is.
No need to get a model with all the nuts and bolts from the facade guys.
I do a lot of single home MEP stuff, even though I'm not really an MEP guy.
In my case I get a model from the contractor and link that into mine to model the MEP stuff. For me that works well, so if...
dedicated
Did that with Dynamo to Google Sheets and out translate there and back again to Revit with Dynamo.
I think real time translation will be a challenge, sounds like something John Pierson...
Still think there was a wall on a phase that was placed and removed so it was not 'really' visible in your phase. But hey, you got it fixed.
One of the best solutions . . . the one you find yourself
well, that is a reply to a some what old post and to be honest your post is rather hard to read. But hey, maybe somebody can help you :)
I have been using Xrev Transmit for so long already that I have no idea how the standard printing works in Revit anymore :-)
phases?
Will that be all door with a width of 500 to be numbered first from 1 to 5 then the door with a width of 600 next so 6 to 10, 700 next so 11 to 15 etc.?
(assuming 5 doors of each here)
Got it, didn't know you were looking in that direction.
Did that switch once and must say that it is easy to switch, much more so than from Xenforo back to vB from a user/owner standpoint
Managed...
Let me point you to XenForo again then. Used that on the frond and backend and to me it is much more modern and easy.
Might know somebody that can help with the transition as well.
I usually try to model a project in 1 file, because that is much easier with families that are used in all the buildings and content management is not such an issue.
Also you can have your model...
Not a 100% sure what you wanna do, but you can either make a rvt file for each discipline and link those in a main rvt to really split it up and make the needed Views and Sheets in the main rvt or...
Or could you do just a single generic project, no mention of location on that for the building and drawings/model you just send out every time and have a project just for the site and a title sheet...
I never do that, I only print entire sheets scale to fit to A3 size if needed.
But if I would it would be in the project for sure, make a separate number range for those sheets and print if...
I use the Logitech G Hub software and with that you can make profiles for different programs. Not sure how that works in Logitech Options, but if that does something similar, maybe you are changing...
I'm surprised that people actually use the mouse wheel as a middle button. Doing that for a few days hurts my hand. I use one of the buttons I can press with my thumb as middel mutton for panning and...
Opened your family and noticed that the materials of 2 of the 3 objects were not linked to a parameter (just the circular extrusion was). So change that too, so the material from your project...
Just the hassle of getting line weights to work together with 'their' content and 'mine' sucks for sure and that is not to mention that their mistakes suddenly become yours.
No thank you.
Sure I...
You need to edit that hatch in your project, not in the family. If a hatch is already in the project it will use that, no matter what you do to it in the family.
I have no idea what you mean, but I'm guessing you will find out once you build the skylight, right?
