Never really looked into that before, so that is on my list of things to figure out, so far have not managed to get a custom Revit parameter into the standard IFC parameter for Fire Rating.
Already there in 2022 !
Good way to add Bouwnummers to your group and tag then in your drawings :)
Doesn't an accepted idea mean they are working on it, so not really any need to vote on it anymore?
and for those not wanting to click the link, this is the idea:
Rebar "Displace elements" in...
I tried that, but so far all I get is an extra parameter in the IFC with the data and the OOTB one not having any data in it. Will have to look at it some more as I believe you should be able to link...
The only thing about this way of doing the fire rating is that I'm not sure how this all goes into my IFC and if people down the line understand the data and won't complain that the Fire Rating is...
Because the build in Fire Rating is a text parameter, you can not use the value in formula's. The only thing I can think of right now is have an extra Fire Rating type parameter that is a number and...
But having the fire rating in the Type has the same risk of error as having it in the instance, right?
I mean people can still choose the wrong wall type and that would still only turn up when...
Happy that I live an work in The Netherlands and everything is flat like a pool table around here, below sea level, but still flat :p
Lol, man I overlooked that.
The last time I did anything with titleblocks was a long time ago, so forgot about that option.
I have no idea, I tried everything to get rid of that blue dot, but I can't.
This is not tied to your project, but to your Title Block, so it should not matter in which project you load it.
What...
You go into your titleblock family and select the revision schedule. You will then get a blue dot on the top of the schedule that you can drag. Drag that down untill you have just 1 row left. No need...
No idea whats going on, but they all come back after a while to edit in a the links. I had seen this one before and it was OK. Not adding much info, but not breaking any rules either.
I'll lock this...
1. look for a job
2. apply to that job
3. get that job (if not go back to 1)
4. work there a few years
5. go back to 1
I mean what is it you need guidance with, seems pretty simple to me.
Not a 100% sure what you have and what you want to get.
Are you working in a template file and want to save as a project or are you working in a project and want to save as a template?
If you...
Wasn't there an issue with Revit and a Windows Update screwing with PDF's?
Yep, more info here:

As far as I know that only works when you put Rev Clouds on your views. Once a revision is issued, you can't assign that revision to a Rev Cloud anymore. If you add your revisions manually, by...
You need to set your revisions Per Sheet and not Per Project as you have now
Tempted yes... time, not so much
With all the great recourses on the web like TheRevitKid (with all this guests), Yourdesk University (with all the teachers), Dana De Filippi who started a YT channel, Ehsan Iran-Nejad who does great...
Hey there, can't help you with a salary, but I did move your thread so people can actually answer, which they can't in the career corner.
What would 36/hr add up to on a yearly basis?
This is the best news since slanted walls !!
Image removed for you
You need to make the outer line 24x36 and have the inner line offset the 1.5 and 0.5" you need.
Looks to be 38x25" to me
