Okay, that's weird. I tried to update it, and I got this message.
Apparently, it's not needed even though Adesk sent me the link saying I needed it.
Okay, I went through the link in the email instead of through communications center, and it worked. New build number is 20121003_2115(x64)

FWIW I received a notice on one of our workstations that Revit 2013 Update Release 2 was ready for download. I downloaded and installed it without issue thinking that it was from Autodesk since the notice came from Revit. I cannot find the file anywhere on the net. The file is called:rac2013ur2.exe . I have enclosed a clip of the file details.

Just noticed these posts, thanks - but I downloaded the wrong version - 'Revit Architecture' is apparently now different from the Revit within the Building Design Suites - David Light kindly posted the right links for dumb people like me![]()

Revit: Revit 2013 update Release 2
Maybe they should just start to call it, "Stability Improvment List"
Evidently, there's a second update for Revit 2014 out.
Luke and Steve have direct links to the install .exes
Here What Revit wants
and here Revit OpEd
As of 11/1, though I haven't seen a list of what the update does.
6 days later, and I just got the official notice through the Communications Center that the update is available.
However, the "ReadMe" still doesn't really say anything substantial about what has changed.
Autodesk Revit 2014 Update 2 Readme
Not even the usual vague "Improves stability when..." comments.
Yeah. We are trying to build 2014 deployments ( i know its late ) the Update 2 has us thinking should we wait.... but we wont push a update that we don't know what is does.
I filed a Support Request.
We'll see how quickly they get back to me.
tick...tick...tick
Got an answer back. They basically said "We're working on it."
They decided it was more important to make the update available & didn't want to hold up the release just because of the documentation.
Keep on eye on The Revit Clinic Blog
You're likely to see it there first.
