Revit Product Support
Includes Product Overview, Getting Started, Learn & Explore, Downloads, and Troubleshooting (including System Requirements and Recommended Graphics Hardware & Drivers). Revit "support requests" are submitted via Subscription Center.


Builds and Updates
You need to have Revit installed before applying Updates and Hotfixes.

"Updates" (often referred to as "Update Release", "Web Update" or "Service Pack") are cumulative - you only need to install the most recent one. For example, if you are installing "Update 2", you do not need to install "Update 1" first.

Hotfixes are independent and usually address specific bugs. You need to install each Hotfix separately (it's possible that a "Hotfix" may be included in a future "Update").

Also, is the build number different for a standalone? The above is from the One Box included in the BDSP package...

I added a line for Update Release 1.
Since there are several verticals, plus OneBox, plus the Design Suites, which all have different downloads, instead of multiple links, I added a link to the Revit Clinic. Their blog post has links to each of the individual updates.

Update 2 for Revit 2013 - 64 bit is out.

I just crashed Revit, and they sent it to me in an email.

I just looked on the Adesk web site, and it's not listed there yet. I have it, though. I promise! I'll install it tomorrow and see what happens.

Just checked through my communications center, and it's listed there. So, it should be there for you guys as well. It looks like it was just released today.

One of my users left me a Voice Mail yesterday about a crash.
I traced it down to a Schedule. Whenever I tried to open that Schedule, Revit would crash hard.
In his Journal, there was a line:
' 4:< DBG_WARN: A filter value is not valid for the field and filter type.
'Expect a soft crash after this warning.

So I figured: Hey, there's an update available!
Installed UR2 and no more crash.
Great timing!

Yes. that crash is related to a bug that would not let you Include Elements from Linked Files, if the schedule was searching for a Parameter that didnt exist in the objects in the linked file.... Which is basically every single schedule with linked files, ever.
