    Activate Revit Arch 2012

I purchased Revit Arch 2011 and have a subscription. I have downloaded Revit Arch 2012 and tried to activate. When I tried to activate, I get a message that my product key was not valid.

Do I use the serial number and product key thhat I got when I purchased 2011. If not, how do get new ones. Do I have to uninstall the 2011 version?

    Thanks

    Have you installed already?
If not when you install use your serial key and the product code for RAC 2012 is 240D1 if you are using 240C1 (last years) you will get this message.

The SN is usually different from earlier versions too... You should be able to find the new SN (And Product Key) in the Coverage Report at the Subscription Center...

In the left menu, chose "Contract Administration" then the "Coverage Report" should be the top link in the center of the page

Contract Administration doesn't show up, but I think that is because I am only an end user and not the contract administrator. I am with the Federal Government and had to have someone purchase the software for me. Somehow this person bacame the contract administrator.

    Thanks for your assistance.

    Ha! How Ironic!!?!

We Antipodeans (New Zealand/Australia) may have received access to the 2012 downloads first, but are still missing serial numbers.

By my personal Licence and work licence are only showing 2011.....
