    Can't snap dimension

    I'm new to revit... I can't get any dimension to snap to the model in place objet I created (see image - I want to achieve the cyan dimension). What am i doing wrong?Click image for larger version.

    First, welcome to RFo.

    Second, it looks like you are trying to dimension to the intersection of the angled line and the vertical line, correct? Try hovering over the intersection and hitting the TAB key until the point highlights. Then snap it down to the center line, then to the other point (tabbing again until it's highlighted).

    You need to turn on the centre of the pipe (centre line), go to View/ Visibility of that plan or view template., Model Category / Pipes . expand the selection then check the centreline check box. Done
