    Combine 2 filled regions

Is there any way to combine 2 filled regions to be 2 parts of the same object rather than 2 separate entities entirely?

I know I could redraw them into the same one but the reason behind it is a far larger scale and Iĺm sure there must be an easier way. In 3dmax which was my poison for the last 4 years id have simply selected the individual splines and attached them to one another to create one object.

You can combine PAT files...I do this for ceiling tiles and floor patterns... Problem is they are all the same weight. If you want one to be darker than another you will have to use a combination of some sorts...

Haven't played with it in a while but HatchKit may be worth looking into for this, they have updated it AFAIK for 2014 & Revitina ;-)
