I'm curious, on a related note, how many of you have tested a 3D connection (3D mouse) device with Revit? Or a second pointer-device (eg a trackball/18-button shortcut keypad) on the opposing side?
Reason I ask, I've found 3D connection's drivers are horrible and bloated. I'm tired of this and considering going with a tablet, but feel that a second pointer (with integrated programmable shortcut keys) would be more efficient in my case.
Curious if I'm just crazy, or anyone else has had similar experiences/thoughts?
I have the wireless 3D Connection mouse now. I had a wired version but broke it, the wheel got crushed. I have the Space Mouse Pro too but haven't used it in awhile. It's not because there is anything wrong with it. It's just an extra thing to set up and carry around with me. I quite liked using with Navisworks, less so with Revit. I haven't had driver issues. The ones that I've installed worked.Originally Posted by DevGirl
