Filled Regions in family appear on top of Lines when loaded in Project

I'm trying to create some Break Lines with a filled region between the two (to demonstrate a break between very long site sections).
When I draw the Filled Region in the family editor, it automatically applies itself to the background. When the family is loaded into the project, the Filled Region moves itself to the front! I can't seem to find the Send to Back and Send to Front buttons when I select the filled region or lines.

Can't tell how you built it but one way is to change the edges of the filled/masking region to a non-invisible line style. I think there's a Revit OTB family for these already but I'll attach one we use anyway.

That is a very clever workaround! Thank you so much for the help
