Uniclass 2015 and Revit lt need txt file

I have been researching best classification to use in our office system. Uniclass2015 appears to be the upcoming standard. Does anyone have a Keynote txt file of Uniclass2015?
    thanks

I would also be interested in this if anyone gets round to making it. Looking for a good classification standard to adopt that is likely to become widespread in (International but mostly european) projects.
Currently using NL_SFB but that is only used in netherlands (And different nordic versions I think).

    It's coming very soon.

The next release of the BIM Interoperability Tools will include Uniclass.

Due before the end of Jan, I believe.

Now that Unicass 2015 is live has anyone got this as a keynote yet? We cannot use plug-ins as we are on Revit LT. hence the need for using keynotes, we find this works well.

The Keynote file for the latest Uniclass 2015 is available from The NBS, check the website for links:

    Thankyou
But unfortunately I am unable to find the links in suitable Revit KEYNOTE format.
the downloads that i see available will require quite a bit of work to be formatted to use as Revit keynotes.
    Thanks

Its easy to make the classification files from an excel list, you just need to get the first 4 columns right then export to Tab delimited text.
    The Assembly Code structure is;

Number [tab] Description [tab] Level in heirarchy (1 to 5) [tab] Category ID [New Line]

The category id can be zero if you want the selection to be available for all categories, but the column has to exist for it to work.

Heres an example based on the 2015 tables.

    The Keynote structure is similar.

    Hi,
The keynote file you supplied does not appear to work, I get the following error with that file.

Format we use, and have been for a year or so shown below, but this took quite a while to re-format the 2015 tables.

We find this very simple to add to and customise on a project by project basis and have set up standard in house codes for common drawing notes helping standardise office practices. I would now like to update this file to align with the recent unicode updates.
    Thanks
    Neil

I've not yet met a single soul IRL who actively employs Uniclass on live projects.

I'm also privy to large collective of practices who are wholesale renouncing it for use in Specifications.

Essentially "Uniclass 2015.19gti UK/GBn-EU v3.1 Final (2) Final copy" still has some way to go.

    Well everything is relative..

We just started using/testing Uniclass because our current classification system (NLsfB) is much worse!
In the SfB system everything is grouped under systems and then materials, which may be fine for construction elements but for services that means that you have multiple codes for identical things like 'copper pipe' based on what system they have been used in...

So given that there is no one system that works yet for everything, and we really do need one for the link between models and cost/quantity calculations, im going to persist with this one

I also like how it is infinitely expandable. The codes go pretty deep in detail already and adding extra digits (Not extra numbers in the already defined headings) means you can make it do what you want.
