Annoyingly, we are starting to see Uniclass 2015 coding appear as a requirement in EIR's. But so far this is for the model only and is not yet backed-up by a requirement for the specification to use Uniclass 2015. We currently still use NBS Building for specifications, but we are going to take a look at NBS Chorus in September. We're not expecting to be overwhelmed by what is on offer, though!

Anyway, we do have Uniclass 2015 keyfiles available if anyone needs them. I've created a separate keyfile for each category as it would be way too much of a monster to put everything in one file. Mostly this stuff is not needed for annotation purposes in any case - really just the Pr (Product) and Ss (Systems) categories.

I've got the Excel files that I used to generate these keyfiles if anyone wants them, but some tweaking is needed to deal with various special characters and quotation marks that appear when exported to the right format for Revit.

Under BS 1192 they are Employer's Information Requirements. Under ISO 19650 they are Exchange Information Requirements. Basically the definition of what standards and protocols are required to exchange project information between all of the parties involved.
