Thread: Beam Join/Miter Tool is finnicky

    Revit does some weird structural priorities and this is one of them Limbatus.
    It says that the column is a support, and therefore more important than the beam. But if you manage the height of the column properly it should be ok.

    I've never messed with it too much, but changing the structural usage and analytic conditions it may also change the behavior.
    Also if you aren't using it, try turning off the analytic model for those components and this can often change the behavior also.
