    Acoustic Triangular Panel Family

I'm struggling with what I think should be a fairly simple family to create. How would you approach making this wall treatment. I was hoping to create something that I could control the projection and the triangle shapes would remain solid. Click image for larger version.

I made something that works, but its not as elegant as I would hope it could be.

Solid mass looks good for figuring out your design intent.. but how do you build it? Probably triangular panels with "variable" furring, on a normal wall?

They would either be just built out of framing and gypsum board then painted. or they would be fabric wrapped acoustic panels. I don't know the final design intent yet. Once I do I'll get with some of our design assist partners and figure out how to build it.Click image for larger version.

Here is my take on it:

2 GMA panel types, 4 and 5 point adaptive with just the height parameter (instance in my case)
1 mass family for wall face, a couple of r.p.'s for grid intersections (add parameters if needed)

you can take it form there

Byk3bep, Your panel looks good on the outside but it is just surfaces, not solids. I wanted to make the forms as solids which is what makes it more difficult. Is there some way to make a solid "pyramid" to a point? I did it using 4 solid triangles. Should be a way, I just couldn't figure it out.

It probably isn't exactly what you need, but...

    Here is the solid version

Not sure how you plan to use it later so it is as simple as it gets.

    Hope it helps

Ahh, so you had to void out the triangle pieces. Good work, thanks.
