Which is exactly what we do. For our larger projects, we even use a sub-sorting index number to move sheets around. It's fairly quick to explain to the beginners; they pick it up easily. A few screen caps of our sorting schedules, aided by working schedules where the sorting is managed.
Note to Aaron.....i had to laugh at your throat punch comment. Yeah, that's pretty much what i felt like when i noticed it. I did find the offender, and read them the riot act. I was accused of leading a witch hunt. Well, if that is what i need to do to stop this nonsense, i will.
p.s. we have another schedule for mass data propagation (unitemized) which fills in the sorting numbers with 1-click. I'm sure someone who is not aware of unitemized schedules will think that the sort numbers are input individually for hundreds of sheets.
