when i export a 3D pdf through the bluebeam add-in, none of the fittings keep my system color overrides (the plumbing fixtures, and a few of the pipes don't either). I've checked to make sure there isn't conflicting overrides and can't find any. I tried checking the use "use render appearance box" in the material browser but that didn't do anything either.
In Navis none of my system overrides follow. does anyone know what is controlling this?
thanks
Have you found any solution yet? I'hv got the same problem.
yeah it's in the materials. I went through all my pipe systems and assigned them materials, then just made all every color available setting available in the graphics and appearance tabs the same. I'm still trying to wrap my head around materials and how they affect navisworks though.
Have you tried exporting using an alternative method (Adobe or built in) or even a third party program?
Currently i use a paid addon called Docuflow by Archigrafix. (I think there is a trial version)
Very handy for exporting single sheets with exactly the name you want.
Max PDF Export settings: <Sheet Number>-<Sheet Name> [<Sheets_Project Status Letter><Current Revision>]
The above produces the following file name for each sheet;
M100-Mechanical Example [DD1]
Hi All,
I have and update here for you all
There is now a free Addon Called DiRoots - Prosheets that does everything the Archigrafix addon does, but FREE!

Thanks Max for mentioning ProSheets DiRoots Revit plugin. It's for sure one of the most popular plugins that we have!
I think you can only fix this issue using an add on.
