So I know 2019 was just released, but anyone finding any reason not to upgrade to it over 2018?

2018.6 has been working relatively well, so normally I'd leave well enough alone for the time being, but wow is it slow to regen pages, etc. and it sounds like 2019 is way faster.

    2019 regenerates ridiculously faster.

I had some projects in Studio prior to upgrading, and im getting a reoccurring problem where occasionally it wont let me Check Out PDF's (i get an error about a duplicate key, or something). But restarting Revu makes it go away (for the time being). Still worth upgrading, because the only thing worse than any of the 2018 versions, is the 2018 versions while the house is on fire.

Update on this, as it got so bad i finally had to file a Support request.

To Bluebeams credit, they answered me in less than a few hours.

The solution appears to be to delete the entire Revu cache for Studio, thats in Local App Data. Easy enough. Its been almost 2 days, and the problem hasnt come back *yet.* Ill keep monitoring. But if that problem is legitmately solved, i consider Revu2019 one of the best "unf**ked" releases since Revit 2011. LOL.

I may go ahead and update all ours to 2019 then. Thanks for the continuing info.

Your eyes will bug out when you see how much faster the PDF's refresh on the job were on together. Its nutty.

Just upgraded my version of Bluebeam CAD. I missed the 2019 upgrade by a week so I had to purchase an upgrade, which is $300!! I got hosed bigtime. I purchased at the worst possible moment at the time, apparently. Dealt with an entire year of a broken software, only to have to buy a very expensive upgrade just to get out of it. I'm so unhappy about it, I came to the internet to gripe about it.

I still have two more licenses to upgrade too.
