Ditto - except replace 30 with 28 (or 32 if internships during studies count as 'years').

We show separate frame type legends on projects that have sidelites and/or transoms. If all the frames are the same configuration, there's not much benefit, and the widths are covered in the details. Our doors have separate nested panels and frames, so this is one spot where legend views actually work well.

We show separate door and frame types, because we often have a number of different door types (solid, half glass, full glass etc) that all use the same hollow metal frame type. So they get numbered and elevated separately. Ever since Legends were introduced in Revit, I simply use the door family elevation legend component, and set each Legend view to NOT show the door frame (in the door panel elevations), or NOT show the door panel, mullions and glass (in the door frame elevations). Of course this depends on correctly-built families with the various pieces and parts set to the correct subcategories for what they are.

    Also this my 500th post!

How do you show storefront doors? I am unable to place any in my legend.

I don't use legends for door elevations, we use a special set of phased views. However, the option to place curtain wall doors in a legend is there for me. Shared nested families don't show up though. What happens when you are in your legend view? Are the doors missing from the list, or does nothing show when you place them?

Since 99.9% of our storefront doors are full glass, we typically show them in Legends using a normal glass door family's front elevation Legend view, set to the same dimensions as the frame of our storefront doors.
