Reflected Ceiling Plan has changed, a new Revit file showing the new grid was issued.
How do I update the model? I tried to link it, but I cannot see it in any view.
Attached is a view of existing ceiling. Revit file with the grid is too big, I cannot attach it.
Thank you,
Cony
Link the model, align levels in your model with the linked model's levels, and create a reflected ceiling plan view in your model.
Thank you!
How do I align?
How do I create a reflected ceiling plan view?
Are you sure you typed AL?
The shortcut for Manage Links is ML
In any case, instead of using the keyboard, you can pick the Align Tool on the Modify Tab of the Ribbon
And kubsix is talking about Aligning Levels, not Grids.
You first need to make sure both your "Level One"s are at the same elevation.
Please don't take this the wrong way, but it sounds like you need some training on basic Revit functions.

I don't take it the wrong way, I need training, I am beginner in Revit.
The new Revit file I need to align, contains just a grid for new ceiling. So, my goal is to replace only the grid in ceiling but I should be able to see other components of ceiling (e.g. edges of walls etc). While in a section, what am I suppose to see in this new file?
Yes I am sure I am typing AL.
Ok I will try the other way...
Thank you!
Don't worry!! we all will try to guide you!
so, you said the model is already linked? maybe you need to check the shared coordinates in both models!
as @Kubsix already says: "Link the model, align levels in your model with the linked model's levels" to do this, you need to check both models "LEVELS" so in that way you"ll know if the levels are right or wrong, if you are not able to see both of your models try to don't crop your section view!
When linked the model you must verify if you are using sharing coordinates or center to center or origin to origin!!
If AL doesn't work as align command maybe is due to other person "Personal Shortcuts" so go to modify and use the Align icon instead, hope this can help you
Typing AL was executing A than L, typing AL faster is doing align...Icon works also...
I am prompted to select a line or point reference for alignment. I select line which is LEVEL 25.
The new revit file which has new grid has only LEVEL 1 and LEVEL 2 (LEVEL 2 offset 10'. This is wrong, should be 15').
But anyway, lets say i want to align level 1 in new model with level 25 in existing model.
After I select line which is level 25, I am prompted to select an entity to align, what do I need to select now?
Thank you very much, for help.
This way I've learned AutoCAD 21 years ago, asking questions and getting answers from forums, but is was mach more easier and faster.
