Hi, everyone. This is my first post in this forum. I want to share my RFO Benchmark result of my new laptop:

AMD 3950x Benchmark 16c/32t, stock w/3600mhz RAM.
This was not a Revit build but figured I would throw it on and bench it while it was on the test bench. Keep in mind, the 3950x beats out intel's 18 core CPU in a lot of multi-threaded benchmarks now. I suspect the 3900x would probably be in the same ballpark if not a pinch slower in the RFO bench.

Hello guys,
AMD 3970x 32core/64thread RFO run. Another non-revit build but ran it on the system. Impressive, this thing is a beast at parallel workloads but for the core count, single core is impressive!

Nice to see the threadripper bench!
Looks like the top intel is somewhat 15% faster at singlecore.
Maybe Revit needs an optimization for the zen2 architecture, or is that not possible?
When looking at the difference of the render times between the 16/32thr and 32/64thr you would expect 100% faster but its actually 50% faster
Yeah, could be a Revit thing, the scaling is not 100% in other benchmarks but it is a lot more efficient than Revit rendering.
The 3970x and 3950x were both on 360mm AIO liquid coolers. The 3970x had the tr4 specific enermax since the client declined a custom EK loop.

OH watch out, you might be insulting Anthony right now, with the pre build question
He is a custom computer builder (https://www.remiscs.com/) so no pre build stuff for him.
Oooow crap. My apologies. Im just a long time lurker, first time poster. I was just going through his results and could not see the motherboard manufacturer so I thought it might be a pre-build (please don't kill me).
On the other hand, I do custom builds and mods on systems that I own as a hobby. Did a couple for the office too.
