Hello remiscs! Would you mind take a look of my test and give some advices on why my benchmark is soo low? thanks!
I have 3970x too but the benchmark is very rough for me especially on Model creation benchmark I got around 142 secs at mutuple times. There could be mutiple reasons for that I am not sure, from what I see the main difference from my set to your set is the memory speed. I have the 3200mhz running on 4 channels at total 32x4128gb.
I did turn on the muti-thread and test on either default and auto oc setting on my cpu.
Maybe have a look in this thread:

This solved my issues with my underperforming i7.

Well the 3900 should be faster because with the i7-4790K i get for model creation is 115 with a fully installed workstation and no tinkering...
Your cpu is probably also holding back the gpu score. What i've seen is that when the cpu gets a lot faster the gpu score also gets much better.
The question is: is revit feeling much faster when the model creation goes from 115 to 80?
