Unhappy help with the sweep tool

    Hi guys,

I'm trying to create a flashing that goes around a pitch roof, that's flushed against the roof, not angle to one direction.

    please see the attachments.

    Cheers,

I looked at it and you need 3 types of flashing with 3 different angles.

Also the roof tool isn't used the way it is intended in this model.

Is there an easier way to achieve that?

Have you tried creating two types of fascia? One with the pitch of the roof for the eaves and the other with a 90 degree angle for the rakes? If I really wanted to model something that specific as flashing, I think that is how I would try it.

yep, I made 2 for a skillion roof. 0 degrees (90) and 8 degrees. never quite worked out how to make a parametric profile for it.

cheers for all your comments. I've tried the roof: fasica, but the profiles don't miter.
