What do you want to change?

The face plate and box are "real" 3D elements while the symbol is a nested Generic Annotation family placed in the plan view. If you want to change the symbol you need to edit that family.

I want to change the symbol. If I click on it, in properties I see is a 'Connector Element' and if I right click, Edit Family is grayed out.
What about if I want to change the plate or the box, I've tried that but with no success.

    Thanx for response!

In the plan oriented view called Ref Level zoom in to see the symbol (circle with two parallel lines). Select that, you should be able to use Edit Family. The stock family doesn't have parameters associated with the face plate or back box solids. You can select a solid and Edit that to increase its size. You can also add some parameters to the reference planes in the family to control the size.

    Background info...

Electrical Devices are a compound family: 3D elements and 2D symbol. The 3D elements are real world dimensions while the 2D symbol is created at a printed size. When it is placed in a project Revit internally works out how to display it 3D and 2D. The symbol is placed in the plan orientation which in a receptacles case is really the elevation because the surface represents the wall surface the device is hosted by. The 3D elements are defined against that surface (host/face). Revit calls this a Face Based family because it can be hosted on "any" face.
