Upgrade Revit LT Template to Revit Full

    Hello,
Our office is about to upgrade from Revit 2019 to Revit 2020

We had an intern working on the template in Revit 2019 LT. If we now would like to upgrade to Revit Full 2020, are there any problems switching from LT to Full? Thanks

There are no Filters in LT, so assuming you are going to use them, that will take some work setting up. But other then that it should not be an issue. I started with TL when I started my business and setup a template with that, only to find out I really could not live without Filters and changed to the full version after 2 months.

We just made the jump from LT to full. We lived without filters for a long time... what are your favorite ways to use them and integrate them into the template?

Well, this is just the filters of 1 of my view templates for my floorplan views:

and now that I post this image I see some inconsistencies in the naming, so might need to go and change them during my x-mas break

I haven't had any issues with this myself.
My only advice is that if your firm is upgrading to make use of worksharing be sure to do your homework first and backup EVERY project where it is implemented. The nightmares that firms experience by not understanding how local and central models work, syncing and relinquishing can be innumerous... and expensive.
