    Can't Dimension

One of my users is having a very weird problem.
    He can't place any Dimensions.
No one else in the project is having problems. Just this one guy.
He can place Angular, Linear, and Radial Dimensions, but not the standard Aligned.
When he picks the Aligned Dimension tool (regardless of starting from the Ribbon, a Keyboard Shortcut or Create Similar), all his mouse will let him select are Points.
He can't select Walls, Lines, Fixtures.
No Design Options, all Worksets are on and free, nothing unusual except he can't Dimension
If he picks, say a Wall, and turns the Temporary Dimension into a permanent one, he can then Edit Witness Line and add more Witness Lines.
He just can't create a new Aligned Dimension

Is it plugged in? Are you sure? What color are the lights on the front?

Dave....is something weird with the angle of the view? Rotated viewport or some reason the aligned dimension tool thinks everything is not parallel?

I'm using 2020 and I have had this problem. I don't recall it with any previous versions.

Not often and it's not a persistent issue, but it has happened a few times.

I think it goes away of if close the file and/or restart Revit.

Apparently, either he was lying to me or I misunderstood him.
He can do Aligned Dimensions, but he can only create Linear Dimensions using endpoints.
    Which is normal.

I don't know why he wants to use Linear, anyway.

And here I had hoped I could reply to Steve and Rob with this:

Sounds like a good way to get out of dimensioning things.
