    Linked CAD visibility

Is there a way to find out how a CAD file was linked into Revit after the fact?

Like if a linked CAD file was brought in 'current view only' how do I find out to which view it was actually linked in? and/or change to all views???

Does that make any sense? Or am I flying blind?

    Thanks,
    Travis

Use dynamo to search all views for the cad file, but if the view has been deleted then it might be lost but if you find it there are delete element nodes in dynamo.

Use Revit Lookup addin to find the element id, then select by id and click "show in view" and revit will search though all views. again, it might be lost if the view has been deleted, but if it does get selected (check properties browser) you can just hit delete. https://boostyourbim.wordpress.com/2...or-revit-2020/

If it's linked in (and not imported) you can remove it through the manage links dialogue and relink it back in - without 'current view only'.

Thanks! I didn't think about ElementID. Obviously... Will look into the Revit Lookup addin.
