Nice shots. I was at the Bathurst 12hr on the weekend where some of these drivers were backing up. Temperature change would have been a bit of a shock - 40 degrees C at Bathurst!

    oof!
Daytona weekend was perfect for spectators! high 60'sF and even 75F on Saturday! and NO rain! (2019, it rained and rained, cold and windy, rather gross; they ended the race 11 minutes early under a red flag.)

We're going to Sebring in March and hoping for great weather again.

Had you been to Bathurst before? I was following a lot of the driver and team posts on Twitter.

GT & Prototype races rock. Really any race that involves more than just turning left is pretty fun

Yep, been to Bathurst a few times - for the V8 touring cars in the mid 90s and back a few more times in recent years for the 12hr. I do the Formula 1 in Melbourne every year and try to get to a few smaller events (or track my own car) each year too.

I went to Road Atlanta back in 2000 for Petit Le Mans. It was cool.

    it's on our list.
Two years ago, it was the same weekend as a Billy Joel concert. Last year, my son was coming for a (rare) visit from KC. This year, it's the same weekend as the Charlotte Roval (NASCAR) and we're thinking a particular IMSA driver that we know *may* be driving. It's still hush-hush, but he told us in Daytona that he's communicating with a NASCAR owner about driving 3 races this year, one of them being the Roval.
