    Importing an ocean view?

Hello! I was wondering how I would add "an ocean view" to my Revit scene. This would have the house modeled to check if the ocean can be seen from the house. This would be based off of real coordinates. I was thinking about somehow getting this from Google Earth, but I don't know how I would add them. Anyone have any ideas?

You can load Google earth in Sketchup, and then export that to Revit.

The more accurate thing you can do is to use a drone and 3D scan the area.

You can use infraworks to generate a large scale terrain model which you can export as FBX file or open in civil 3d.
afterwards you would have to pull it through 3d studioor navisworks, or open it in civil 3d to get something usable in revit.

Its not intuitive nor quick but it works.
Link infraworks into revit is on my wishlist. for preliminary design and presentation purposes.

Isn't the op talking about an ocean view, no the terrain? So probably looking for a sky dome of the location of his design or something. No clue how to do that other then a camera that cam make a 3D panorama for that.

Maybe op should take a look at BlenderBIM. Lots of potential. IFC compatible. More sollutions on export than import.
