    Extend grids overlapping sheets

I know, the title is a bit weird, but let me explain it with 2 pictures. The project shown is the Autodesk Construction project.
    What it is:

Name:	extend 1.PNG
Views:	216
Size:	48.9 KB

What I need it to be:

Name:	extend 2.PNG
Views:	192
Size:	30.2 KB
ID:	38308

I know this looks ugly, but in my project it will look nice. Where do I begin with such a script?
    Thanks!

I have a script that turns end 1 or 2 on/off for selected levels or grids, if i remember i can post it tomorrow. It's great for really tall towers with lots of levels when you want to switch the level markers to the other side, but works for grids also.
But honestly, if you're only doing a few views it would be simple to just drag the 2d grids from the right view over and across the second view and hide the overlapped grids.

I completely agree, but we work with towers with mostly 15+ stories and a sheet per wall. So automation with a script is more than necessary
Your script might be a nice start, thanks Elton!

Have you tried to create an additional view with grids and overlay it on a sheet?

How would you do that when a tower doesn't have the same floors? I can't use 1 additional view I guess.

Create a grid view for each floor (sheet). I think it will be easier than puzzling over a Dynamo script.

Appreciate your replies Nurlan. You are right when you make 1 project, but we have almost every week a project like this. That's why I placed this thread in the "dynamo" category. It would be really nice if we could automate this proces.

You can automate it like this: create grid view; crop it, place and align on sheet...

just brainstorming, hope you find a better way
