Issue with referencing certain types of views

I created a plan detail from one of my floor plans in order to show a blown up detail for a window jamb. I have the same window shown in elevation view where i want to have sections shown on the window elevation that refer to the plan detail. For some reason, when I choose section, and go to reference other view, that plan view name does not show up on the list of views. Could someone please advise on how to fix this? Please see attached image.

    Thank you
