Printing to PDF issue on floor plans

    Hi All,

Hoping you can help with a tricky issue of printing to PDF sheet views.

The problem is that the Title, elevations, 3D views on a sheet views print perfectly but whet I do the floor plans it either cuts half of the sheet off or puts it at a different size in the bottom right corner. Interestingly it works perfect normally but not this time.

    Can anyone help?

    Thanks

    Hypa

All I can think of is that there is something on the left side of that floorplan.
Check your crop region and crop view.

    Thanks for the reply mate.

After much hair pulling, it turned out to be a new North Point that we are using, it had an origin point way off to the left off the sheet.

As soon as I modified the family, I knew it would work and it printed perfectly

Ah the joys of Revit Modelling, still love it and man it can catch you out quickly!

    Thanks again

    Cheers

    Tell me about it
Nice that it turned out to be something simple in the end.

Ran into the same problem with a PDF underlay on a sheet.
When snap to PDF was on it would mess up printing. When snap was off it printed all right. PDF content can live outside the visible border it turned out.

A good tip. Before i print i go to every sheet and do a ZA. If sheet is dead centre of display the all good. If not, it will indicate where a stray lurker is by biasing the sheet to the other direction in the display.
