My choice would be to have finer controls in the family editor - ability to turn 3d elements off in 3d, ability to vary what detail level items are visible for different views (for example, often in 3d I'd like a more detailed view then I want in plans at the same detail level). I'd also like the ability to assign formulas to materials and filters to restrict family-type drop downs.

As for categories, I think there are a few that could be added, but just having the option to make more family types cuttable (ideally on a per family basis) would solve a lot of problems and take some pressure off "Generic".

If i could only get one? I would rework how Walls/Floors/Roofs/Ceilings (everything i call sandwich assembles) were modeled, so they were real legitimate 3d objects, with real joinery options, and real layer wrapping options in many conditions. What we have now isnt really 3d for the layers, and even with parting, its not 100%.

I couldnt care less about adding new categories. And i care even less about Text Formatting.

I'm pretty simple. I just want a freaking spellcheck that works on everything, not just text.
