Yep - that is what I have now recommended (or go to BIM360)

How are your firms handling your company content when yo're on a BIM 360 project?
I'm talking about company family libraries, and detail container files.
Are you still connected to your office network drive?
    Copying content locally?
    Cloud-based content?
I just checked our Revit 2020 library, and its over 2 1/2 Gig, so copying Locally doesn't seem reasonable. Not to mention keeping it updated.

Our travel Laptops keep a cache of it locally, and the PX Tools manages syncing it at every login *IF* the Network is available. Basically, if were IN the office and login, it updates (through a mirror, not brute force copy, so no unnecessary traffic). The PX tools also manages repathing when machines have to "go local" as well.

Our desktops... are a different story, since were full time WFH for everyone. (We all have syncing NAS's LOL).

Our library is on Sharepoint, with Kiwicodes Family browser to access it so works from anywhere

I just read the other comments and i know there have been other things like Sharepoint and third party apps that work too, but I did want to let you know that you *could* put all of your families in a BIM 360 "project" that is nothing more than your RFA filles, and using Desktop Connector (yeah i know) use Load From in Revit, browse to the BIM 360 "drive" in My PC (this is DC) and load from this BIM 360 project. Some things that don't work: we don't view RFA's in BIM 360 (Yet...hopefully someday....) and preview icons don't show. But it does work to load from a BIM 360 project.
