    Framing Warped Roofs

I am trying to frame a roof deck that is warped in different direction for drainage purposes. I normally attach my beams to the deck plane so any changes in the deck elevation will auto updated the beams as well. My questions is how do you do this when the roof deck is not one even slope? My beam/joist ends up sticking out of the top of the roof. Any thought or ideas on how to do this with out seeing beams/joists sticking out of the roof?

    Thanks

You could do that kind of thing with a beam system Set to "3D" and using picked supports. My example might be a bit "extreme" but I am guessing your condition could be done in a similar way.

It's probably okay if the framing is sticking out just a little. The decking material (especially lighter gauge metal roof deck) is pretty pliable, and will follow the slope of the steel beams/joists. As long as the top-of-steel elevations are accurately modeled and documented, there should not be an issue with the installation of the roofing material.
