    Match type properties

    can i make the match type properties to match alo the system pipe in plumbing? or too much to ask?

    Sounds interesting. It would be nice if this was possible, instead of just matching the pipe type and material.

    Just recently started testing it out, but pyRevit seems to be able to do what you're looking for? Not sure if this exactly what you're looking for, but under "Match" there's "Elements" and once you click your piping, it asks you which parameter you want to match. You can select "System type" (and other properties at the same time) from there. Then click on the piping to match it.
