Using parameter from imported object in a schedule

Hi, I have imported an object (steel lintel) from a manufacturer that has a parameter for Manufactured Length. I need to create a lintel schedule and would like to use this parameter in my schedule. But I can't see it in the Fields when setting up the schedule. Can anyone advise what I need to do please?

You'll need to create a shared parameter in the family... dimension the length in the family again, and set it equal to your new parameter label
