    Roof terasse ''support''

    Hi guys,
Is there a way on revit to establish a support plan for this type of element.

I want to make a plan to shows all the different type of holder that we need and the quantity.
Doing it manually takes forever, I need to cut between 2 points and do the calculation for each point on the roof. If I have 1000 holder, it is 1000 equations to do..
Then I need to determine what type of holder to put for what height.

    Thanks for your help,

    Midaz

    Hi,
    Try this way:

    1. Create a structural column-based support family.
    2. Arrange with an array without grouping.
    3. Select one support and try to Attach Top/Base to the roof with different attachment options to find suitable ones.
    4. Select all supports and attach to the roof.
