    Parameters in linked revit model

    Hi all.

I have a revit model linked to my own model.
I want to place a filter on a parameter, but i can't find the paremter by the filter props.

    What can be the reason?

Is it a shared parameter? If so add the parameter to the project as a global parameter for structural framing.

I have never tried this but that might work

    Thanks for reaction Modderhoop.

I don't know what kind of parameters they are.
It is from a linked revit file. So how do i know this?

If i linked a ifc file, revit make a .txt file in the same map for shared parameters.
But for a linked revit file there is no .txt file.

Go take a look. Open the Framing family and select the parameter in the Family Types dialog > Edit. There you can see if it's a Shared Parameter.

If it is, add the SP as a project parameter to Framing in your project. If it's not, start a conversation about what you need to do with the other party, see if they can change some stuff or help you filter in some other way.

I opened the construction revit model. I see it is a shared parameter, they have make a project parameter from it.

But i missed the shared parameter file from the construction model.
How can i add this parameter to my shared parameter list?

I think i have to ask the shared parameter file from the constructor.
Afther that i can make a project parameter.
