Hello, I have a problem with Revit LT 2020 and a european HEB steel beam family. In a T joint between 2 beams with the same section, I cut the T beam with the shape of the passing one, using Opening by face. But in the 3D view, the cutting shape shows in fine level when the level is set to medium (left pic), an shows in medium level when it's set to fine (right pic). What am I doing wrong?

    Hello,
Сheck if the Detail Levels are correctly assigned to the geometry in the beam family.

Hi, geometry is well assigned, straight corners in medium level and rounded in fine.
When I cut the end of the beam with the Opening tool, I pick the lines from the fine level section, so with rounded corners. But then, it shows with straight corners in fine and rounded in medium...

I could not recreate this issue in Revit.
Try changing the family so that it has only one geometry for high and medium detail (remove medium extrusion).
Does the same thing happen with other I-beam families?
Create a new project without a template and copy your beams there. Does the problem remain?

I think it is because you are using opening by face. Is there a reason why you aren't using "cope"? "
