    Question Metadata tool

    Hi.
I have a question concerning Revit:
I know that this kind of process can be done in Archicad.
Is it possible to do the same thing in Revit with exactly these steps:
Select an object / apply custom metadatas to the selected object or to its family (switch)
To apply, creating a plugin who can communicate with a browser (external app?)
I want to do mass implementation of metadatas, so I want the user to be able to keep the focus in Revit viewport.

Can some of you tell me if this process is possible?
have you ever seen such an app/plugin in Revit??

Yep. 100% possible. We have an internal app here that does just that.
