    Problems with Groups and levels

I created a level in Revit when setting up a project. Unfortunately I forgot to click make plan view on the options bar. Hence it came across as black and not blue and there is no associated plan.
Is there a way to change this once plan has been created?
Can’t see any way under properties panel.

I can, of course, delete level and create a new level with same height. I get error message, Along with the selection , 1 element will be deleted so might not be such a good idea.
And if I create new level with same height as deleted level, it comes across as black not blue.

    Another problem:
When using groups I can generally copy pretty easily. Vertically, it’s easy since I just copy and paste to selected levels. I copy in plan and if I move group orthogonally it generally works. However, if I rotate group through 90 degrees problems generally set in such as elements moving about.
There is a problem here? Should I be using sets and what is the relative advantage/disadvantage?

In the View tab, there's a "Plan Views" tool.
Just add a new Floor Plan, and your orphaned Level will show up in the list.
Create the Plan, and the Level will turn Blue

What is it that you keep referring to as "sets?"

    There are:

    1. Links
    2. Groups
    3. Assemblies
    4. Families

And what is it you mare making, or grouping? If your Group wont let you rotate it, chances are you have something that is Work Plane Based (assigned to a work plane outside of the group), or Face Based (assigned to a face outside of the group) or Line Based (assigned to a face outside of the group). All of those are no-no's.
