Steel - Contour Cut not showing in Fine Detail view

I'm attempting to apply a contour cut to a member because structural connections do not allow a top flange cope on moment connections.
I've successfully drawn the contour profile, but it is only visible on "Medium" detail level, but I need to see my other structural connections, so I must use "Fine" detail...Screen shots are below. First image shows I have applied double clip angles, and I have already applied the contour cut. 2nd picture, I've selected the beam with the cut, and you can see the outline of the cut profile. Both views are on "Fine" detail. Third picture, I've switched to "Medium" detail, and you can see the cut clearly, but the angles are gone...

My understanding of the Contour Cut from Autodesk's help sites is that it only shows up on Fine detail views, but I'm having the opposite results. Anybody else have any issues or recommendations?

Apparently the pictures did not come through. I'll try to post one here.

A solution has been found within the office (thank you @TFuller).

Apparently, the issue is caused by the inner face of the top/bottom flanges. If a line is snapped to either of those faces, the cut will not show up in fine detail. After playing around with the sketch profile, I determined that there is a minimum threshold of 0.0632" from that face. Once you hit that threshold, the cut becomes visible, but anything under that value renders the contour cut invisible.

Thanks for clarifying. I was wondering why my original post took so long to go thru, especially since the "Permissions" on the bottom of the "new post" page all say "You may..."

I guess after this one clears, I need one more post before I can post any accompanying pictures of the problem as well as the solution that was found, just in case anybody else ends up with this issue down the road and stumbles across this thread.
