Cutting the end of a wall at an angle

I have a linked model and a host model. I want to be able to join the wall to the linked model, right now it's not joining. As shown in the image, i want to cut off that extra triangle piece. Is there a way to do this by either joining the wall to the linked model, or editing the end of the wall itself?

A Generic Model Family that has a void in it, that you manually place or align where you want it to cut the wall, then do Cut Geometry.

Or Copy/Monitor that wall in to your model.

There is no way to interact with the Linked Model.

Tried to make a 2 level void GM and wouldn't let me select the void to cut. A regular GM worked though.

Are you sure you had that 2LGM set to Cut with Voids? I use 2L GM's for all of me Penetration Families, and they cut. Unless i missed something...

I can't guarantee that I bet that was the problem.

Any good reason to not have that checked off by default in the family template?
