Hello all,
AMD 5800X results, another great set of numbers. I posted 5900X results a few post back in case someone is looking for those. Testing was done with 3200mhz RAM. I did try a set of 16GB 3200mhz 14-14-14-34 RAM vs a more normal 32GB 3200mhz 16-18-18-38.
The simplified test results have me asking myself a few questions. The 5900x was about 4 seconds better here while only being about 1/2 second faster in the standard test. The RAM in the 5900x was a 64GB (16GB x 4) 3200mhz 16-18-18 kit. I am curious if the difference was just boost algorithm (silicon lottery really) or if the 4 sticks of RAM provided an advantage. I should be able to get some 5900x w/64GB 3600mhz RAM results soon.
