    Moderator Approval Required?

Curious, so i've got to ask....

I've noticed lately that some of my post replies are immediate, and others require moderator approval, which has ranged from hours to the following day. I don't see a trend as to which posts are "ok" vs those that are not. Is there some sort of logarithm controlling this?

I thought it might be tied to post count, but even with a couple hundred posts, apparently i still need someone to approve my replies. And it's hit or miss which.

mmm, weird I had to approve this one as well and I don't see any reason for that, it was marked as possible spam.

and the other 2 posts you just made were marked as possible spam as well.

Maybe @Munkholm can look into this?

posted a question in the mod section of the forum as well, to see if we can figure out what's going on

It could be the Vbulletin built in anti-spam method to combat fake and spam account. I've encounter the same in other forum as well. It is to prevent DDOS attack or malicious spamming.

We have been talking to Munkholm about it. It doesnt appear to be related to anti-spam, and we CAN confirm something has gone "screwy" with the account. We just... dont know what caused it, and dont know exactly what to do about it, yet.

Sorry for the hassle. It wasnt something any of us did intentionally, and were all a little perplexed by the glitch in the matrix.

No worries Aaron. I never suspected anything intentional. I'll just keep posting when i visit RFO and have comments or something to say, and if it takes a little longer to get through, so be it. No one that i know of gets paid to post or moderate, so i look at it from that perspective.

Anyway, thank you, Munkholm and the others for looking into it.

Jon. Thanks for the patience. There actually might be a fairly easy way to solve this, but it requires a new account for you, which Ill then merge with the current one, and swap out the username once done. Youll not loose any posts, rep, or anything else.

So if youre up for it, please create a new account, and email me the details @ munkholm@revitforum.org
