    3D Rebar in Families

    Hey everyone,

It's been a while since I have posted in here. I've been doing structural modeling for a little over a year now and I have a question.

3D rebar is awesome, first off. I'll never use linework to represent rebar, as many others on my team do.

So, my question. Is there a way to load rebar into the families so that when we model them in the project, they have the rebar pre-loaded, such as in Structural Foundations?

If so, can someone point me in a direction so I can play around with this? It would be a HUGE time saver.

    Thanks!

    Hi,
Unfortunately (or fortunately), it is not possible to insert rebars into families. Instead, create a "garden" of pre-reinforced elements that you use frequently in a separate or main project template.
