How to create a two "elbowed" arrow in Revit

is there a way to create an arrow that has two elbows, or notches, if you will. I want to make my own stair arrow because the default ones are horrible. See image below. Is this possible?

You can make your own Generic Annotation that looks like that, yes.

Can you give us an example of how you want the arrow to look? There are a number of options available for the built-in stair path arrows to change how they appear.

You just make a Generic Annotation. File > New > Generic Annotation. Then you place it in the views. You wont get it to auto-place with the stairs. So you turn off the auto up and down arrows, in VG:Model:Stairs.
