I used the roof tool to make this, it is just a 45 degree roof coming off the side of a house to cover a door. Ideally it would have sides and a bottom, maybe for lighting to be installed.

Add in soffit walls and ceiling to enclose.
I use an actual awning/canopy family for this purpose. The material can be various things like fabric or metal. It has aluminum frames underneath, and the option of open or closed ends.
This seems like a better solution, I just added the walls and ceiling and now I've been asked to make adjustments which makes it turn into a little project. Did you create your own family or download one somewhere?Originally Posted by PatrickGSR94
